Don't dream about a great team, build it!

Social team building outcomes are quite different to knowledge or skills development. Possible outcomes include developing self and group awareness and respect, confidence, more effective communications, patience and tolerance, and energy and enthusiasm.

A Lunch-time event story:

Season Greetings: Share the Wealth

Pot luck put on by everyone First stage: teams - time line game
Second stage: teams - assemble bikes
Third stage: race (obstacles)

Theme: Festively decorated for Christmas, the room is elegant and cosy, lights are low and soft Christmas music plays in the background. A non-perishable Food Bank item gains entrance to the Gold, Silver and Clear decor gathering room - representing money and a clear idea of where we are headed.

Activities: A three stage competitive team game uniquely developed for the organization with the winning team receiving a "bragging rights" certificate.

Purpose: Four bikes are given to the local Christmas Bureau, the Bureau was so grateful - it brought tears to the eyes of the person that delivered them.
